• Directly from You: When you register an account, list a property, request a visit, send an enquiry, submit a demo request, or make a support ticket.

• Location Services: When you grant browser location permissions to automatically discover PGs near you in cities like Bengaluru, Pune, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Mohali.

PGZoo uses the collected information strictly for legitimate operational purposes:

• To facilitate direct connections between tenants and verified PG owners without middleman brokers.
• To authenticate user sign-ins via secure SMS One-Time Passwords (OTP).
• To generate digital rent receipts, track room dues, electricity sub-meter units, and maintenance requests.
• To provide customer support, verify property authenticity, and prevent fraudulent listings.
• To send essential transactional notifications (booking confirmation, visit reminders, payment receipts).

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third-party marketing companies or brokers.

Your data is only shared in the following authorized circumstances:

• Between Tenants & Owners: When a seeker submits a visit request or enquiry for a PG, their contact details are shared exclusively with that specific PG owner.
• Trusted Service Providers: Secure third-party cloud infrastructure, SMS/OTP gateways (e.g. Twilio/Msg91), and RBI-authorized payment gateways under strict confidentiality agreements.
• Legal Requirements: When mandated by court order, law enforcement, or statutory government authorities under Indian law.

• Encryption in Transit: All communications between your browser/app and our servers are encrypted using modern TLS 1.3 / SSL protocols.
