Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Tenant", "PG Owner", or "You") and PGZoo ("Company", "We", "Us", or "Our"), governing your access to and use of the PGZoo website (www.pgzoo.com), mobile applications, and associated software tools.

By accessing, browsing, registering on, or utilizing any feature of the platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any portion of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform.

PGZoo operates as a digital technology marketplace and management SaaS ecosystem connecting Paying Guest (PG) seekers, tenants, and hostel occupants with independent PG owners and accommodation operators across India.

To access certain features (such as listing a PG, booking visits, managing tenant records, paying rent, or submitting complaints), you may be required to register an account using your mobile number, email, and OTP verification.

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activities occurring under your account.
• You must immediately notify PGZoo of any unauthorized account access or security breach.
• PGZoo reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

Tenants and seekers use PGZoo to search properties, request free visits, communicate with verified PG owners, and manage their stays:

Tenants agree to abide by the individual PG's house rules (gate timing, notice period, visitors policy, and electricity tariff) agreed upon with the owner at check-in.

PG Owners and operators who list properties or utilize the PGZoo Owner App agree to:

• Accurate Listings: Publish genuine, up-to-date photos, exact location coordinates, authentic room pricing, security deposit amounts, and true facility availability.
• Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with local municipal bylaws, fire safety norms, police tenant verification guidelines, and commercial/residential licensing applicable in their state.
• Fair Treatment: Treat all prospective and current tenants with dignity, respect safety standards, and refrain from unlawful discrimination.
• Sub-Meter Readings: Record electricity sub-meter units and dues fairly and transparently as agreed with tenants.

14-Day Free Owner Trial: New PG owners receive a 14-day full-access trial of the PGZoo management software upon registration, without any upfront payment requirement.

Subscriptions: Following the trial period, owners can subscribe to flexible plans (1 Month, 6 Months, or 1 Year) as displayed on our Pricing Page. All prices are clearly stated in Indian Rupees (INR).

Refunds & Cancellations: Software subscriptions can be canceled at any time from your account settings. Since full features and active tenant inquiries are delivered immediately, subscription fees are non-refundable once activated, except where required by law or in cases of proven billing errors.

Users must not engage in any of the following activities on PGZoo:

• Posting fake, duplicate, misleading, or unauthorized property listings.
• Using automated scrapers, bots, or data mining software to extract listings or user phone numbers.
• Sending unsolicited spam, marketing communications, or promotional messages to tenants or owners.
• Uploading content that is defamatory, obscene, infringing on copyright, or violating Indian cyber laws.
• Attempting to probe, scan, or breach the security of PGZoo servers, APIs, or database networks.

PGZoo provides its platform, apps, and services on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PGZoo, its founders, directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from property disputes, tenant-owner conflicts, rent payment delays, physical property conditions, loss of belongings, or unauthorized access to user data.

The PGZoo brand name, logo, software code, UI designs, graphics, database schemas, and documentation are the exclusive intellectual property of PGZoo. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, distribute, or reproduce any part of our platform without prior written authorization.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach thereof shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali) / Chandigarh, Punjab, India.
